"Ebb and Flow" - New paintings and drawings at Nero Gallery, Rome

I'm really excited to share details of my upcoming show at Nero Gallery in Rome, Italy.

“Ebb and Flow” is a collection of new oil paintings and drawings done over the past year, that continue a fascination with the ambiguities of nature and mortality.

Melancholy, longing, rapture, determination, sorrow and ecstasy. Moments of transformation are captured mid flight, drawing from a tension between dark and light, stillness and dynamism, as muses strive to find balance in the ebb and flow of life.

"Vessel" - the book

Today I finally got the final printed copies of "Vessel" delivered and I'm so happy with how the book has turned out, it's everything I hoped for!

It's been a long time in happening. A book has been something I've had in mind for a few years now, actually taking the step and launching the Kickstarter was a daunting prospect.

But here we are! Thank you to all that supported the project, I'm excited to finally be able to share the book - if you missed the Kickstarter, there will be a few copies of the book available in my store at www.craww.bigcartel.com soon.

"Vessel" - A Kickstarter project

I have just launched my first Kickstarter project!

If successful, I hope to self publish a book of sketches and drawings from the last 5 years. My sketchbook has always been an important part of my process, allowing me to try ideas, experiment and allow my imagination to run wild without worrying about making a mess of things.

"Vessel" will pull all of that together in one hardback clothbound book. I am offering a variety of rewards to help raise funds - signed copies of the book, prints, original drawings and commissions, as well as opportunities for orignal drawings to be added to the books.

Tees, Sweats and Cushions

I've recently been working with the good folk at Limited Edition on some clothing, fabrics and some other cool stuff.

They've done an excellent job of transferring "Woven", "Cathedral" and "Grace" onto fabric for a selection of clothing, throws and cushions. Lovely print, lovely quality fabrics for both men and women. here are a few examples, the full collection is available at www.thisisalimitededition.com

I've just packed and shipped 4 paintings, including "Arrows Let Flown" (shown here) which will be available through the gallery. I've shipped to collectors in Australia before but never shown there, it's exciting to actually have work hanging that people can see for the first time!

The Moleskine Show @ Hashimoto Contemporary

Last Saturday 4th April saw the opening of this years Moleskine sketchbook show at Hashimoto Contemporary in San Francisco. It was an honour to be part of the show for the 3rd year running, and to show alongside some amazing work from some incredible artists.

Craww x Beautiful Bizarre 008

I'm very excited to be included in the next issue of Beautiful Bizarre magazine, alongside some very talented artists. The issue will be available from 1st March and there is a teaser online  with details of the artists involved here

My 12 page feature leads with "Sacrament" a new new drawing, done especially for the magazine.

Doodles, Ink, Gold Leaf and affordable originals

Over the past few months I've had a lot of fun producing these little ink drawings in between other larger painting projects.

They are short and sweet ink studies, sometimes with gold leaf and I try and make them available as an affordable way to get your hands on an original piece.

Priced around £40-£50 each, I'll no doubt make more available in the future. When I have some coming up I usually post about them on my Instagram or Facebook, so keep an eye out if you fancy one. They tend to sell out within a few minutes.

"Safe Passage" - new print with The Peoples Printshop

Ahead of my new print release with The Peoples Print Shop, Zach Tutor of Supersonic Electronic asked me a few questions about the piece, alongside some other stuff. I waffled a bit,  the results are up on The Peoples Print Shop site.

The print, along with a small hand finished edition will be available from Friday 16th May.

"Murder" Craww x Kidrobot Black Vinyl Figure

Melancholic beauty and death cloaked in feathers. A headdress with shiny black eyes and sharp beak is mounted over petite downcast features. Massive hands hold the delicate chest. Bright, shining red escapes through the pointed digits – a sign of life in a sea of black.

October finally saw the release of "Murder" - the vinyl figure I've been working on with Kidrobot for the past year or so.

Having been involved at every stage from intitial sketches and designs through to involvement with the packaging and the figure itself, I'm so excited to finally have my hands on the real thing. Kidrobot have dome a killer job on the figure

Limited edition of 200 pieces, each is hand numbered with the my engraved signature on the bottom.
